|Science North: Sciences North is an internationally praised state-of-the-art science center with exhibits and activities for all ages. Science North is located about 1 hours drive from Black Bear Camp at the south end of Sudbury, Ontario.
Imax Theatre: Science North also has a 5 storey tall IMAX Theatre with surround sound. You can learn more about the IMAX theatre at their web site
|The Big Nickel Mine: The Big Nickel Mine is one of the largest mines in Canada. You can take a tour of the mine and see how underground agriculture works. You can see the training grounds that were used for American astronauts back in the 60s and 70s. If you are there after dark, you can watch the famous pouring of the red-hot slate. It's a great adventure and the kids will love it.
|Cortina Boat Cruise: There are hourly boat tours leaving from Science North where you can relax on the water and let someone else do the driving.
